What does a good nutrition program set out
Our Nutrition program was established to improve our clients’ overall health and wellness so they can feel more energetic, sleep better, and make sensible food choices. Our program is tailored to meet the specific needs of clients who are post-stroke, in surgical rehab, have Parkinson’s, or suffer from the general effects of aging and immobilization.
What is Food Science and how does it influence meal planning?
Food Science and Nutrition examines how the foods we eat will maintain our physical and psychological needs as we age. Science guided meal planning takes into account both traditional medical results such as cholesterol and insulin levels, and also the blood base analysis of food resistance. Based on that analysis, our meal plans are designed to optimize health opportunities given an individual’s metabolic needs.
What is food coaching and how will it help me?
When diet changes, everything changes. Food coaching helps you improve your eating habits. We are your personal nutrition advocates, helping you to select food wisely and prepare it deliciously. We provide meal plans customized to your needs with education and support for sustaining your general health through better dietary choices. Having a skilled food coach ensures that the quality of the calories you consume are as valuable as the quantity of calories.
Why nutritional supplements?
There are many factors that can impair one’s ability to absorb nutrients. A nutritional supplement is a preparation intended to boost the diet. Supplements provide nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, fiber, fatty acids or amino acids that may be missing, or may not be consumed in sufficient quantities. They are needed if you are unable to consume the food required to obtain the nutrients or to help repair damage to your digestive system. Our nutritionists can help you select the appropriate nutritional supplements to meet your health requirements.
